Senior Scholarship

Each year, Your Viking PTSO collects funds so we can offer one (or more) $500 Scholarships to deserving Central Cabarrus High School Senior students.

The Viking PTSO Scholarship can be used by the student for any purpose related to their higher education goals, such as books, housing, fees, or whatever else they may need.

Funds for the Scholarship come from the sale of Senior Signs via our Online Store or from donations from our supporters.  Thank you!  💚💛

Purpose

The Central Cabarrus High School PTSO Scholarship recognizes graduating Seniors who can clearly demonstrate how their experience at CCHS has shaped them, how they have positively impacted their community, and how CCHS resources have influenced their future goals.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a graduating senior at Central Cabarrus High School

• Plan to enroll in a college, university, or post-secondary program following graduation

• Submit a completed application by March 27, 2026.

Application Requirements

A complete application includes:

1. Completed application form (student information)

2. Application essay (see prompt below)

3. Two reference forms (at least one from CCHS)

Essay

In your essay, please address all of the following:

• How Central Cabarrus High School has impacted you academically, socially, or personally

• How you have impacted your school or community, including leadership, service, or involvement

• How resources, programs, staff, or opportunities at CCHS have helped shape your future goals or prepared you for life after high school

Essays should reflect your personal experiences and be written in your own voice.

All application and reference forms must be submitted by March 27, 2026 at 11:59pm.
